Flowers Blooming in Autumn

An embroidered sheer maxi dress is a beautiful addition to your closet, especially, when holiday seasons are just right around the corner. But, if you were like me who’s an ordinary person going about an ordinary life, no need to review underwear for attracting eyeballs, you may wonder how you will pull it off gracefully. I think the trick is layering.

I personally love anything sheer. And, I think if it’s done right it could be extremely beautiful, feminine, romantic and elegant. For the featured sheer maxi tunic, in order to create a more realistic yet stylish look, I layered an all-black outfit underneath to off set the delightful floral embroidery on the soft sheer material. After all, winter doesn’t belong just black and gray.

I’m wearing:
Sheer tunic dress: Zara
Black silk shirt: Theory
Pants: T by Alexander Wang, this will work beautifully, too.
Shoes: Stuart Weitzman
Sunglasses: Miu Miu
Bag: Valentino
Earrings & rings: FIDM Museum Shop
