Last night, I accidentally broke something I treasure. I regretted being so careless and in the middle of kicking myself, my daughter Josephine heard my murmuring and came over to check on me. “What’s wrong?” she asked. “Oh, I made a mistake and broke something.” I replied. She saw how frustrated I was and tried to help: “Mommy, come here. I will tell you a secret” she said and suggested me to crunch down so she can whisper into my ear. Curiously I got close to her, and she said very quietly and seriously: “You know mommy, we all make mistake, but as long as you learn from your mistake you will be OK.” I tried really hard to restrain myself from smiling and nodded seriously to her “You are right. Ma ma will be careful next time”, and I kissed her.
