Summer Essentials
Whether it’s fast fashion or high fashion, they all have a place in my life. If I’m playing with my girl, I will definitely wear something fun but more affordable so I won’t feel bad if it got ruined by paints, slime, or whatever we were in the mood of playing. However, for work, events, and special occasions I like to dress like a grown-up and feel great about myself.
I’ve been shopping at TheRealReal, an online consignment store, for essential pieces, for a while now. Most of them are lightly used designer pieces, very well made with high quality materials at a more-than-half-off discount pricing.
In this post, I purchased the knee-length white eyelet skirt, made by Theory at $50. As you may already knew, most high quality clothings last through many washes but still remain in good shapes, so there really is not much difference between TheRealReal lightly used designer clothes and the new clothes you’d have bought from high-end stores after couple of washes, except one thing that is the tremendous amount of money you’ve saved. Not to mention, you are also helping the world by using recycled items.
The only drawback of consignment stores is that for most items they only have one piece on hand. As of this moment, they don’t have another Theory eyelet knee-length skirt available. But, the good news is that you can search through their thousands of available skirts to find something similar. It’s kind of fun to do, if you enjoy browsing through beautiful clothings like I do, lol. For those who don’t enjoy shopping, I’ve picked a few similar skirts for you to consider.
1) VINCE PLEATED KNEE-LENGTH SKIRT
2) LELA ROSE KNEE-LENGTH FLARED SKIRT

I also put together a collage to show the items from TheRealReal that I’m currently obsessed.
