First Day – Pike Market Place, Seattle

Being a coffee lover I had to visit Pike Market Place where the first Starbucks started. And I guess I wasn’t alone, because there was an half mile long line just outside the shop. Maybe I am a little exaggerating, but that’s how I felt at the time. Anyhow, I decided not to stay in the line with my 5-year-old daughter. We just ended up hanging around at the market, appreciating fresh flowers and fruit.

Seattle’s summer is cool in the morning and evening and can get very hot in the after noon, so wearing layers is very important. Plus, a hat and sunscreen are also essentials while traveling in Seattle.
